Jeff Speck, author of Walkable Cities  and Suburban Nation, is a city planner and urban designer who, through writing, lectures, and built work, advocates internationally for smart growth and sustainable design. He stopped by the Joe A. Guerra Public Library to talk to the Laredo community on smart growth, the potential for walkability, and the revitalization of our downtown.
